I am originally from Southern California, grew up in Anaheim and have been to Disneyland hundreds of times...but I also spent many years living in the very eclectic Venice, CA. I moved to the Bay Area in 1997. I attended Santa Monica College receiving an A.A. degree in Business Administration and shortly after, I began pursuing my B.A. in Political Science at UCLA and finishing at San Francisco State. After my B.A., I earned a degree in Child Development and then attended grad school at S.F.S.U. and earned my Teaching Credential. In 2010, I also received a Special Education Credential from St. Mary's College.I have been teaching now for over 10 years and during the summer you'll probably find me traveling somewhere in the world learning about other cultures and their history as well as snorkeling and SCUBA diving in the fish filled coral reefs within their warm oceans.Teaching at Bayshore has been a fantastic experience. I have found that the students are bright and eager to learn and that their families are caring and supportive.
